7:00pm (Chinatown): Studio Night at the Banksy Museum - Keith Haring was a street artist and activist, who used characters and symbols to tell stories about his life and the world around him. Learn about Keith Haringâs iconic work and the 1980s New York street art scene that gave rise to it. Then use acrylic paint and paint markers on canvas to create your own artworks in Haringâs signature style, integrating symbols and motifs that are meaningful in your own life and the world today. Keith Haring serves as an inspiration to many street artists including Banksy.
Tickets include entrance into the Banksy Museum, the lesson, all art materials, a smock to protect your clothing, and cheese & crackers.
