7:00pm (Bushwick): MOTHER: An Art Exhibition - Join us for devotion to the feminine and an invitation to you to experience this inner-dimension we all contain. The show itself was born from a dedication to trusting an intuitive life force. It attempts to render that life force visible through the autobiographical and archetypical.

Consider the ways this energy has been trialed, vilified, discarded, condemned, as well as revered, safeguarded, protected and worshipped. Through portraiture, ritual, myth, and the artist’s sacred embodiment, an appeal is made to disrupt tradition and make room for a different kind of authority: One that feels, senses, creates, and nourishes. One that is ungovernable and omnipotent.

5:00pm (Ft. Greene): The Hyve: Deepen The Storytelling & Creative Practice Behind Your Project - This is a group for fostering and deepening the storytelling and creative practice behind a project.

It consists of sharing and discussing creative projects and deepening the narrative or meaning behind those projects, including asking questions like “Who is the audience? What do they learn/feel? Where does this happen? What is the impact on the community?”

We will also participate in storytelling and creative exercises, as well as occasionally bring ideas or projects to staging spaces like open mics or workshops to gauge audience/community response.

6:00pm (South Williamsburg): Teahouse Salon: An Evening of Culture, Creativity & Giving Back - Join us for an evening of short performances, storytelling, TED-style talks, and skill shares—served with bites and drinks in a secret location in Williamsburg.

​All proceeds from the evening will go to providing meals and care to seniors through Heart of Dinner, a nonprofit supporting elderly facing food insecurity and loneliness.
