Iâm thrilled to announce that we have partnered with week nights to build out NYC Community Week.
Yes of course thereâs all the community events themselves, but during the day weâre going to be adding panels, activations and resource hubs for people to learn more about community building and perhaps leave inspired to start communities of their own.
Weâre particularly thrilled to be working with week nights because this is exactly their wheelhouse and it will pair nicely with the weekâs social events to help round out the entire experience of NYC Community Week.
Stay tuned for more on this in the coming weeks!
Community Week is happening this May. If this resonates with you, there are three ways to help:
Donate: Even small contributions add fuel to a fire that's already burning. Link HERE.
Bring programming: If you're part of a community, host events, or have ideas for activations during Community Week, reply back. We want to hear from you.
Sponsor or partner: If you or your company wants to be part of something that's actually building social infrastructure in NYC, let's talk. Reply to this email.
This is collective action that weâre excited to build together with you.

The idea of building community is easy. Lots of people get inspired to create one surrounding an interest or a central value/idea, but when it comes to the practical applications of building community, there are more than a few roadblocks on this particular journey.
Enter weeknights.
Founded in NYC by Shai Bruhis and Jesse B Rauch, weeknights is building the digital infrastructure real-world communities have long deserved. The platform exists to support the organizers who create spaces of belonging, with a core belief that social connection isnât incidental to a good life, itâs foundational to one.
What began as helping organizers find space quickly evolved into something bigger: a full âcommunity engineâ designed to help leaders create, grow, and sustain in-person communities without burning out on logistics.
Beyond the platform itself, week nights offers coaching, social events, and workshops through their Connection Academy, all converging to create their own eco-system of community builders, all rooted in the conviction that belonging builds stronger relationships, healthier cities and more resilient local economies.
So if youâve ever thought about starting your own community and wondered why isnât this process easier, weeknights has not only your solution but a community of people walking a similar path sharing their experiences and growing through both learning and collaborative spirit.
