Welcome to the The Sweet List— your curated guide to community-led NYC events you'd never find on your own.

Every event is vetted by us, and you can personalize the list by your social battery, neighborhoods, and interests so you only see what actually fits your vibe.

What’s New?

The Sweet List is now completely FREE — every feature, every filter, every event. No catch.

Why free?

After months of testing with a small group, we realized the app gets better when more of the right people are using it.

So instead of gating it, we're opening it up because we're building toward something bigger.

As you may have heard we're launching Community Week NYC in May: a full week of community-led events across NYC.

The Sweet List is how we're bringing everyone together for it. The more people on the app, the better Community Week will be.

Our first-of-its-kind citywide celebration is kicking things off with an open forum that we are hosting on Wednesday 3/18.

Think of it as an entry point for anyone interested in participating. Attendees will learn about the vision behind Community Week NYC, explore ways their community, venue, or project can get involved, and gain insight into the tools, partnerships, and support available to participating builders.

Just as importantly, the session creates space for attendees to meet fellow community organizers and collaborators who share a commitment to strengthening the social fabric of the city.

So come join us next week, meet your fellow community builders and let’s put our collective resources together to ensure that NYC community week is a huge success!

NYC Community Week is happening May 9th - 17th. If this resonates with you, there are three ways to help:

Donate: Even small contributions add fuel to a fire that's already burning. Link HERE.

If you run a community or gathering of any kind and want to host an event under the Community Week banner, we want to hear from you. You can apply by viewing the one-pager below:

If you work with a brand that cares about showing up for real people (not just impressions), we have sponsorship opportunities that actually make sense. The sponsor deck, which includes the full picture, is below.

And if you know someone—a friend, a colleague, a favorite local organizer—who should be part of this, please send this email their way. That's literally how community works.

This isn't another event calendar. It's the first citywide proof of concept that when New Yorkers gather with intention, something extraordinary happens.

What happens at the intersection of climate, consciousness, and mental health?

That is the question that Psychedelics for Climate Action, or PSYCA for short, seeks to answer.

Founded by social entrepreneur Marissa Feinberg, the initiative brings together an eclectic community of climate leaders, researchers, facilitators, and curious citizens who share a common interest in bridging our countless technological and policy solutions to the climate crisis, towards collective action.

Rather than focusing solely on new innovations, PSYCA if focused on rallying people towards collaboration and participation. Through gatherings (such as the Earth Month Summit), workshops, and community-driven experiences, PSYCA creates spaces where people can reconnect with themselves, each other, and the natural world. These moments of reflection and insight are not meant to remain abstract; they are translated into tangible forms of environmental engagement.

The organization explores the idea that lasting climate progress requires a fundamental transformation in how people perceive their relationship to the planet and to one another.

By examining the role of consciousness, emotional resilience, and psychological connection to nature, PSYCA opens a broader conversation about the human dimensions of environmental change.

So if human centric environmental initiatives are your thing, PSYCA is definitely a community worth exploring.
